Our beautiful wedding
The highlight of this year has to be my beautiful barefoot wedding to Roland. We had the wedding on Hunting caye and it was as romantic and idyllic as I could have ever imagined!
We had a natural aisle of palm trees, a beautiful arch made out of leaves and flowers, a heart shape of petals surrounding the arch and an incredible sunset for the photos.......perfect! My family came, my Dad gave me away and my Mum and sister were there to help prepare.
Very relaxed bbq food, and NO speeches!!!!! After dark we had fireworks and some lanterns that we lit and sent off to the stars (some crashed and burned in the sea!!!) and in typical Belizean style everyone danced the night away until the early hours.
Thanks to everyone who helped us arrange the wedding, Jerry and Heather, Dennis and the Garbutt family for the boat transfers and accommodation at Lime Caye, Miss Sandra for the food, and Jo for arranging the fantastic
Hen party!!! And special thanks to my Mum and Claire for all your help and my Dad and Karen for our incredible surprise honeymoon at Roberts Grove.
