1. Reservation process and pre-departure communication
Very helpful and easy, you were extremely helpful with my changing dates and plans for getting to PG and that gave me added comfort prior to departure
This was absolutely fine for me, it had everything I needed and I loved the experience of sleeping in a cabana
Delicious food every day ! Thank you Adrianne for feeding us so well
4. Conservation training
This was really great, to be able to teach the important aspects to enable us to contribute in such a short space of time is brilliant. I think it may be useful to have a fun revision / test the following day to make sure the understanding is there, we were lucky though with only 3 guests on the island the first week I always felt someone was available to answer more questions on fish species / coral.
5. Dive training (please specify which courses you took, if any)
I took the rescue diver course which was a little unexpected as I had enquired but didn’t realise it was included. This caused a small problem as I didn’t have the book. I borrowed an up to date copy from Hannah to take notes from… I think in the end taking notes like that actually helped me remember it better. The course was fun and I’m glad I did it.
Loved diving again and had a great experience. It was really nice to feel I was becoming a better and more educated diver as the time went on and the knowledge gained during the conservation training and other time meant that with every dive I had a greater appreciation of what I was experiencing.
7. The ReefCI team
You were all wonderful, from the moment Jo greeted me from the ‘plane to the last moments with Kaylee and Steven at the house. And thanks especially to Kaylee and Steven for making me feel welcome at the house too, especially on the Sunday when I arrived. Introducing me to PG even though I imagine this is the only free time they get to themselves.
8. What did you like best about your time with ReefCI? Why?
Being on the island with great friendly people, it was an all-round wonderful experience and one I will never forget.
9. What could use improvement?
Honestly, I can’t think of anything. It was really a perfect experience for me.
