In an effort to continually improve our services, we like to hear from our guests after they have returned from their trips to find out what is working well, and what might be changed for the better. Here is what Lindsey Elkin had to say about her Christmas on the island this year, Dec 2013!
1. Reservation process and pre-departure communication
Love you all! So helpful with where to stay, flight info and if I need to bring a shortie! 🙂
2. Accommodation
I forgot how much I liked the cabanas. The bathroom was large and not far from the cabana so it was all good.
3. Meals
I loved catching our dinner! I really appreciate Adrienne being so kind to accommodate my dairy allergy. She not only made amazing food but I could eat it!!!
4. Conservation training
I learned a LOT more on this trip and was happy I was strongly encouraged to do fish ID and coral ID.
5. Dive training (please specify which courses you took, if any) Nope…but maybe if I change jobs I’ll come back for my master
6. Diving/Snorkeling
I ABSOLUTELY loved going out with Roland and the guys. Roland is extremely talented and it’s nice to be around people who are better at things than me so I can learn. He’s a wonderful teacher and a great guy. It was fun to goof around with Dennis and Snake as well. They definitely enriched my visit. The diving seemed like it flew by…I guess that is how things feel when you are having fun! It was fun to spear but also just observe how things have changed on the reef. I appreciated that Snake would take my kit and let me swim after the dives despite it being rough most of the time.
7. The ReefCI team
Tracy and Simon are extremely dedicated and knowledgeable. They were very thorough with their trainings and conscious of the needs of the group. I felt as if I was in good hands with them in the water and Roland and Snake above the water. I had a great time playing dominoes with everyone as well. 😉
8. What did you like best about your time with ReefCI? Why?
Honestly, I love going to the island. Polly is an amazing woman with the organization that she created. It is always nice to watch her manage things and listen to her stories. The staff is dedicated, efficient and fun. I was extremely grateful to be part of the holiday.
