Reservation process and pre-departure communication: Great, very responsive.
Accommodation: Amazing! I didn’t expect the accommodations to be so comfortable on the island. Also the housekeeping daily was nice but totally unnecessary. Extremely grateful to the staff that helped making that island feel like our own private resort.
Meals: Absolutely delicious. “Sea to Table” day after day. Loved the variety and trying all the new seafoods!
Dive training (please specify which courses you took, if any). I took the advanced open water and Simon was very knowledgeable. I thought he was a great dive master, and very helpful with any questions we had.
Diving/Snorkeling. The snorkeling around the island was much better than I thought it would be. Also all the dives were very close and fun. I’m not sure how we chose which dives we would go to, but I appreciated when our dives throughout the day were over varying landscapes.
The ReefCI team You guys were extremely helpful prior to the trip, and Simon and Tracy were extremely knowledgeable divemasters. We dove with multiple dive shops in Belize afterwards and nobody compared to the professionalism or environmentally awareness of Tracy and Simon. The entire staff on the island was great as well. They were fun to hang out with at night, and it was great getting to know each of them. Kenny was very sweet, and Snake was hilarious! The women in the kitchen were a riot as well.
What did you like best about your time with ReefCI? Why? I loved the education about the ocean. Each dive seemed to have a different objective, and I loved learning something and then going on a dive that focused on what we learned (fish. coral. skills. etc). I felt like I was in scuba camp all week and absolutely loved every minute of activity. The food was also amazing, and for some reason I was always famished despite getting a hearty portion at every meal. I have to say though too the staff can’t be beat. Everyone on that island was extremely kind and our group had a lot of fun.
