“A guaranteed bundle of fun!”

“I have just returned to reality after spending four months with Reef CI. The diving with

Reef CI is hands down the best and most amazing thing I have ever done. With the most

beautiful reef I have dived on, seeing Dolphins (that swam close by and played with us),

Sting Rays, Nurse Sharks, Eagle Ray, Whale Sharks and much more.

 
 

I completed my Rescue Diver and my Dive Master course during my stay and I can

definitely say that Reef CI has the best instructors I have dived with. They are both

knowledgeable about the reef and its eco-system and have such a passion for diving that

they want to share their extensive experience and knowledge with everyone.

 
 

During my stay I did countless conservation surveys that are extremely interesting and fun

to get involved in. Lionfish spearing is an experience like nothing else I have ever done

and benefits the reef hugely.

 
 

As for the island – Tom Owen’s Caye, I was shocked by how small it was and was unsure

what it was going to be like stay for 4 months on such a small island. However, I would

have had the island no other way! The size of it allows it to have a nice homely feel, with

everyone always around each other, and if you want your privacy you just go slip into your

cabana on the beach and soak up the paradise around you.

 
 

One of my fondest memories is of Spot the island dog, he is a loving and

playful companion who gives the island a wholly unique feel, I am missing him already!

 
 

The diving is unreal, from the snorkeling just off the island where you will almost always see

an Eagle Ray or a Nurse Shark, to some of the most beautiful coral I have ever seen in all my

travels. There are also huge wall dives that stretch beyond belief, where turtles, rays,

sharks and almost every amazing piece of marine life that you could possibly imagine,

swim peacefully by.

 
 

Reef CI is just an amazing organization that not only has been helping protect the Reef

for 10 years but it is also a guaranteed bundle of fun, not to mention the food, which is

INCREDIBLE!

 
 

I highly recommend it for anyone who is looking to give something back

and have a great time as well, and don’t worry, if you haven’t dived before you will be

in the more than capable hands of Simon and Tracey who will teach you how to dive

professionally and safely. Thanks guys for a truly life changing four months!”
