Join the celebrations!
Have you ever been to a Caribbean Carnival??
Always wanted to be on a float in a street parade??
Come and party Belizean style and celebrate 21st September, Belize Independence day, on the ReefCI Lionfish float!
The Independence day celebrations coincide with our month long lionfish derby. You can help us catch this invasive fish during the week on our beautiful piece of paradise and then participate in this awesome fun cultural experience at the weekend! The theme of our float will be Lionfish related, naturally, and it will be great fun! We will parade the streets to thumping Belizean beats, throw candy for the children and educate them about this invasive species. Then, party into the night at a block party in Central Park!
Come for 1, 2, 3 or 4 weeks and help us make a huge impact on the lionfish population in the Sapodilla Cayes! And remember, we are offering a 15% discount for all guests visiting in September!
Email [email protected] for more information or to book you place! Limited places available!
Thanksgiving with a difference!!
Imagine this……. Crystal clear waters, beautiful sunshine, calm Caribbean sea and only a handful of people to share it with!!
Why not ditch the traditional Thanksgiving celebrations this
year in favour of a Belizean banquet?? Start with the day with a beautiful deep dive, giving thanks to the ocean by contributing to our meaningful conservation programs!! Then let the feast begin!! Lots of fresh fish, Belizean treats, locally sourced seasonal fresh fruit and vegetables, and of course lots of Lionfish!!
Bring a friend, your husband, wife, brother, sister, mother, daughter, lover, or come alone!! Any which way, we would love for you to join in our celebrations. It will be a thanksgiving to remember! Email [email protected] to reserve your place now!!!!
“Amazing Experience!!”
“One of my favorite parts of this trip was that while I was having a blast diving, I was also helping with the reef conservation.
Everyone did a great job teaching us about all of the different parts of conservation and explaining why we were doing it.
All of the food was amazing (thank you Adrianne and Brittany)! There was nothing better than eating a fish that was caught earlier that day (delicious!!!).”
Of course lionfish spearing was one of my favorite parts because not only were we able to help remove them from the reef, but they were delicious to eat. It was the best of both worlds.
The question isn’t IF I am going to go back, but rather WHEN I will go back, and I don’t think that I will be able to stay away for long.
